DANNY ROSE kissed a TV camera to pay tribute to Ryan Mason while celebrating Tottenham’s second goal against Rochdale on Sunday.
The touching tribute took place during Spurs’ 2-2 FA Cup fifth round draw with the League One club.
Following a second-half goal from Harry Kane, the Spurs full-back initially joined his teammates in celebration before pealing away and kissing the camera lens and shouting: “Ryan Mason.”
The gesture was not lost on Mason, who took to social media to show his appreciation of Roses’ actions.
The former international Mason was forced to retire at the age of 26 just over a year after suffering a horror head injury against Chelsea.
The former Hull City midfielder fractured his skull last January after clashing heads with Gary Cahill and was immediately rushed to hospital for life-saving surgery.
