RYAN MASON was welcomed back at Hull City Training Ground on Friday afternoon – this was his first time back since clashing heads with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
Mason sustained a skull fracture on 22 January as he went down in the early stages of Hull’s Premier League defeat at Stamford Bridge after clashing head with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
After an eight-minute delay in play he was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he underwent emergency neuro surgery.
Mason said he felt “lucky to be alive” after having surgery following a clash of heads with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
