RYAN MASON has resumed training five months after the horror head clash that left him with a fractured skull.
It was back in January when Mason collided with Chelsea centre-half Gary Cahill in their Premier League clash that left the 26-year-old needing emergency hospital surgery.
But in a pleasing video the former Spurs man shared on Instagram, he took part in some light cardio work ahead of the Tigers’ stint back in the Championship.

He titled the clip simply, “back at it”.
SunSport has previously reported how Mason was thankful for the support he received following the horror injury – including from someone who knows all about head injuries, Petr Cech.
Cech suffered a depressed fracture of the skull for Chelsea in 2006 against Reading in the Premier League and has reached out to Mason since his injury.

Speaking to Hull City Tigers, Mason said: “It was fantastic to speak to somebody like Petr because he has been through something similar.
“He has given me advice and he talked to me about what to expect. He’s told me not to worry about certain things, and mentally and psychologically it has been great to spend time talking to him.
“You look at what Petr came back to achieve after his head injury and it is quite remarkable.
“There are plenty of studies that look at such injuries, but you can never fully understand it until you have been in this situation yourself.
“I’m very grateful that Petr reached out to me and my family and took the time to come and see me to help us through this.”
The former Tottenham man required lengthy treatment on the pitch that required oxygen.
He was then carried off the pitch on a stretcher and rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London – one of the top trauma hospitals in the country.
